General Shipping Information
Our days of operation are Tuesday through Saturday and we have a twice daily pickup and delivery Tuesday through Friday. If your order is placed before 2pm Eastern Standard Time it will go out the same day if the entire order is in inventory and ready to ship. Orders after 2pm will leave the next business day if we cannot process them in time for our evening pickup.
All shipments from Commonwealth Motorcycles will carry full insurance. Once the package leaves Commonwealth Motorcycles our liability ends. This is why we carry full insurance. If the package is lost or damaged by the shipping service we will file the claim and do everything we can to correct the situation. If you receive a damaged item please contact us immediately. The carrier will come inspect the package and a claim will be filed from there.
The product weight listed during the checkout process is a dimensional weight, not an actual weight. The dimensional weight is used to calculate your shipping estimate. This allows a more accurate estimate as multiple items may be figured into one box.
If items in your order are not in stock and are Okayed for backorder we will hold the entire shipment until all of your items are ready unless you specify otherwise and are willing to pay the additional shipping charges. This is up to you to decide. By default we hold all shipments until the entire invoice is ready to ship.
Most items will ship directly from Commonwealth Motorcycles, but occasionally we will have items with many choices or combinations drop shipped. We might also drop ship if we are backordered on the product and it will be quicker for you to receive it straight from the manufacturer or distributor. If the item is shipped from another source then this shipping policy will not apply. If you only want to receive shipments from us, please contact us at 888-420-5211 prior to your order to specify this.
Domestic shipping
Domestic shipping will be shipping from our facility in Louisville, KY 40202 to any address within the continental United States. Alaska and Hawaii will be handled on a per case basis, but most likely will be treated as International shipping to keep expense down. We only use UPS to ship domestically and offer ground, three day, second day and next day as shipping options. International shipping
International shipping will be shipping from our facility in Louisville, KY 40202 to any address outside of the continental United States. Alaska and Hawaii will be handled on a per case basis, but most likely will be treated as International shipping to keep expense down. We only use USPS to ship internationally and only offer USPS Global Express. Global Express allows quick delivery (3-5 days generally), a tracking number and insurance.

Returns
Returns are only accepted on new products no more than 30 days after their purchase. Items must be returned in original uninstalled an unused condition with original payment receipt and packaging. We do not accept returns on any electrical items under any condition.
We do not accept returns on special order items or clearance/closeout items. Deposits for special orders are non-refundable.
Returns are subject to a 20% restocking charge. You may avoid this fee by exchanging for another item or store credit toward a future purchase.
There will be no credit issued for the original shipping and handling amount unless we deem it necessary in such cases as a defective item. You will also be responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective. For defective items that were shipped domestically we will email you a shipping label that you may print and then hand the item to any UPS delivery driver, UPS hub or UPS Store.
